In another part of Abia state a pickup truck of the National Health Insurance Scheme, NHIS, was vandalized and the occupants brutalized even though they are of Igbo extraction and even called themselves Biafrans to save their skin, the unruly mob nonetheless attacked.

The extension of the curfew was contained in a statement on Wednesday by the Chief Press Secretary to the Abia State Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, Enyinnaya Appolos

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the governor met with IPOB chieftains a fortnight ago where they tabled their grievances to the governors in an expanded meeting held in Enugu.
