African top table tennis star, Aruna Quadri, has sailed through to the main draw at the ongoing ITTF World Tour 2020 German Open at GETEC Arena in Magdeburg.

The two best players in Africa – Aruna Quadri of Nigeria and Omar Assar of Egypt – will be leading the continent’s contingent to the first ITTF World Tour in 2020 – German Open — holding at GETEC Arena in Magdeburg on from January 28 to February 2, 2020.
Quadri, who led his club, Portugal’s Lisbon, to another win at the weekend in the Portuguese league, is aiming for a good outing in the competition, but he needs to scale the hurdle of qualifying from the preliminary round after he was drawn in Group 12 against European stars.
