Over two billion litres of petroleum products have been transported through the pipeline since 2016.
Luke Anele, the Managing Director of Nigerian Pipelines Storage Company, has said.

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the Niger Police, had on Sunday, deployed armed personnel to prevent people from scooping petroleum products at the NNPC pipeline that exploded in Paikoro Local Government area of the state.

A statement by Ndu Ughamadu, NNPC Group General Manager, Public Affairs Division, said this was part of efforts to consolidate on the successes recorded in the steady supply and distribution of petroleum products across the country.
