The News Agency of Nigeria reports that 11 female Muslim students and Muslim Rights Concern instituted the suit.

This is coming on the heels of a video clip showing the prevention of female Muslim students of the International School of the University of Ibadan from wearing their hijab into the school premises
The respondents in the suit are ISI, University of Ibadan, the School Principal, Mrs Phebean Olowe and Prof. Abideen Aderinto, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academics) and Chairman, ISI Board of Governors.
The International School Ibadan which was shut down on November 19 over the crisis on the use of Hijab by female Muslim students has been reopened.
This was made public as part of the resolutions arrived at after a meeting of the Parent Teacher Association.
MURIC stated this in a statement on Monday by its Founder, Prof. Ishaq Akintola, following the decision of the management of the school to shut it down on Monday when some pupils showed up in hijab
This followed the appearance of some pupils who adorned hijab in the school on Monday
