The House granted the request sequel to a message sent to it by the Governor, which was read during the plenary by the Speaker, Dr. Ali Ahmad.

The defection, according to Speaker of the assembly, Dr Ali Ahmad, during plenary was conveyed in a letter written to the House by the Majority Leader, Hassan Oyeleke, on behalf of concerned members.

The House approved the request after a thorough debate by members following the adoption of a report by the Committee on Land and Housing on the matter at the plenary on Wednesday.

Ayanda, who spoke with newsmen in Ilorin, was reacting to the controversy generated over the recall process against the House Leader in the Kwara House of Assembly, Hassan Oyeleke.

Oyeleke, on a radio programme, stated that the State Government, led by Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed, has not taken any money from the JAAC.

Their appearance followed a summon issued to them at Thursday’s  plenary of the House following the Motion of Urgent Importance raised by House Leader, Hassan Oyeleke.
