According to a statement signed by the Secretary General of the Handball Federation of Nigeria (HFN) Almo Umar Lambu, the developmental championship organised to discover future handball stars nationally will hold from August 26 – September 4, 2022.

The Secretary General of the federation, Alhaji Maigidansanma Mohammed, who released the list, said the programmes for the year would enable the HFN to adequately plan for its activities in the course of the year.
Ocheho, in his New Year message, said the HFN had put all logistics in place to ensure that the federation’s vision for the year was actualised.
The competition, which started on February 28, had 25 teams from seven States and five academies that included under 12 boys and girls teams and under 15 boys and girls teams
