For Bodex, who is a media and events executive, the idea of the hangout was conceived out of the quest to ensure that stakeholders in the new media world converge together and rub minds on how to make sure social media platforms are used positively and also open the minds of young chaps on the opportunities that needed to be unlocked so as to generate bogus wealth for sustainability also decrease the surge in cyberstalking, blackmailing and other heinous crimes associated with social media. The annual event which holds every June during world social media week had in attendance top media executives, celebrities and stakeholders.

This year’s edition has the theme ‘Digital Media: Freedom of Internet Use and the Rights of the Citizens’.
The enterprising Hungbo also hinted that the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, is expected to grace the event as the Special Guest of Honour.
Bodex made this known while revealing plans to host this year’s edition of the event in a brief chat with some journalists.
It is one of the country’s biggest fashion awards show.
