The Bauchi State Police Command has neutralised three and arrested 12 suspected kidnappers and cattle rustlers terrorising Burra Community in Ningi Local Government Area of Bauchi State.

It was learnt that on February 22 at about 3pm, the Command succeeded in arresting one Umar Abubakar, alias MAKWA, 27, of Tigga Ligyal village, Faskari LGA of Katsina State, a notorious member of the bandits and kidnap for ransom syndicate terrorising Faskari, Dandume and Sabuwa LGAs of Katsina State and Zaria of Kaduna State.
Iskilu Akinsanya, the state Commandant of the NSCDC, disclosed this to newsmen on Monday while parading the suspects at the command’s headquarter in Agodi, Ibadan.
The Police Command in Gombe has arrested two suspected cattle rustlers and recovered 35 cattle.
