The Archbishop of the Catholic Archdiocese of Lagos said this in his Christmas message to Nigerians and their leaders on Tuesday. 

Martins made the plea in a statement signed by the Church’s Director of Social Communication, Rev.Fr. Anthony Godonu.

Archbishop Martins gave the charge in his 2021 Christmas message, titled: “Joy to the world, the Lord is come.”

The Archbishop said that the feast marked the last Sunday of the Catholic liturgical year and the end of the Catholic Year of Mercy as the church awaits advent
