The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the Director-General, National Commission for Museums and Monuments, Prof. Abba Tijjani, received the artefacts from the museum in company of the Consul-General of Nigeria in New York, Ambassador Lot Egopija.

The Consul-General, Ambassador Lot Egopija, stated this at a hybrid Town Hall meeting held at the Nigeria House in New York for Nigerian nationals within the jurisdiction.

Egopija told the News Agency of Nigeria in New York that the passports were among the backlogs cleared, but were yet to be collected by the applicants.
