The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has asked the Chief Judge of the Federal High Court, Justice Adamu Abdu-Kafarati to transfer the case file of former Customs Comptroller-General, Abdullahi Dikko to another judge.
The commission’s spokesperson, Wilson Uwujaren, gave the confirmation via SMS to the News Agency of Nigeria in Abuja on Saturday.
Dikko, who headed the NCS between August 2009 and August 2015, was reportedly arrested by the EFCC in June over alleged diversion of N40 billion from the agency’s coffers
Diko said President Muhammadu Buhari, on assumption of office, was worried over the level of infrastructure deficit across the country.
Diko added that the government was ready to deal with the situation through the Public Private partnership
