This was confirmed again in a statement by its National Organizing Secretary, Hon. Umar M. Bature, on Friday.
The bill tilled, “National Centre For Cancer Treatment Bill, 2022”, scaled second reading on the floor and was sponsored by Senator Oseni Yakubu (Kogi Central).
The restructuring was done due to travel restrictions and quarantine requirements.
The passage of the bill followed the consideration of a motion for re-commital of the National Development Fund (Establishment) Bill, 2022.
The bill which passed second reading was tagged “Pension Reform Act 2014 (Amendment), 2022.”
