The Leader of the Synagogue Church of all Nations, Pastor Evelyn Joshua, on Sunday supported the Evangelical Church Winning All, Marine Beach, Lagos with the sum of N500,000 for its evangelism.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports it celebrated its 60th anniversary with a thanksgiving service and N50 million appeal fund.
This was to enable it to purchase an evangelism bus.
Speaking at the event, the SCOAN leader, who was the special guest at the event, said evangelism remained the life wire of the church and should be prioritised.
Joshua, represented by Daniel Mammah, described evangelism as a vehicle to widen salvation message to bring more people into the kingdom of God.

She urged Christians to accompany salvation message with works.
She said: “Our focus in SCOAN is to reach out to the poor with good news and humanitarian works.
“It has been our signpost from the days of our founder till date.
“It is a mandate we are happy to accomplish always irrespective of denomination and nationality.”
NAN also reports that the church used the occasion to reward people who contributed to its growth and development, among whom was Yakubu Dogara, a former Speaker of the House of Representatives.
