Swansea City are ready to up their bid for West Bromwich Albion striker, Osaze Peter Odemwingie.
The Nigerian international has made it clear that the Liberty Stadium is his preferred destination and Albion now expect Michael Laudrup to increase his opening offer of £1.8 million, submitted at the weekend.
That bid remains on the table along with £2 million proposals from Cardiff City and Stoke City, although the Baggies have made it clear the Swans’ opening gambit fell short of their valuation and expect an increase in the next few days.
