South African National Prosecuting Authority on Friday in Johannesburg said that a suspect in the killing of the captain of South Africa’s national soccer team, Senzo Meyiwa, has been arrested.
Nathi Mncube, the authority’s spokesman, said the suspect, Zanokuhle Mbatha, had appeared in the Boksburg Magistrates’ Court east of Johannesburg.
He said the case was postponed until November 11.
