Mike Idoko, the Director of the Ondo State Football Agency, on Friday said five players had been injured in auto crash involving players of Sunshine Stars International FC of Akure.
Idoko told the News Agency of Nigeria in Akure that the accident occurred on the Ijebu Ode-Ore road when the team was returning from Ijebu Ode to Akure.
They had been in camp in Ijebu Ode as part of preparations for the Glo Premier League season.
Idoko said the Chairman of the agency, Akin Akinbobola, had immediately ordered intervention for the players.
