AFCON 2013 hero and Super Eagles midfielder Sunday Mba, has joined Ligue 2 side Bastia from Warri Wolves.
The 25-year-old had initially agreed to join the French club in September, but the deal fell apart after Wolves pulled out of negotiations at the last minute.
However, Mba left the Eagles’ camp for the upcoming African Nations Championship, for France to seal a 18-month deal with the struggling club. His move to the Stade d’Erbajolo automically rules him out of the competition meant for players based in the continent.
Mba will be saddled with the responsibility of assisting the club escaping relegation in France.
