Dominic Solanke has been named England Men’s Youth Player of the Year.
The winner of the award is chosen by coaches.
Solanke was rewarded following an impressive 12-month period.
The 17-year-old was an integral part of the England Under-17 side that were crowned European Champions in May, with Solanke finishing the tournament as joint-top scorer, while he was also named UEFA’s Star of 2014.
The young striker was handed his Chelsea first team debut earlier in the season in a Champions League game against Maribor, coming on as a second-half substitute.
He has been a regular for our Under-21s and Under-19s this season and scored a brace in the Under-21 game against Manchester City.
