A federal lawmaker representing Yewa North and Imeko-Afon Federal Constituency of Ogun State, Hon. Kayode Oladele, has commended former President Olusegun Obasanjo for endorsing Ogun West to produce the next governor of the State in 2019.
This, according to Oladele, has added the much needed boost and great impetus to the Yewa/Awori agitation, having been denied the opportunity for the past 41 years.
Oladele said when he spoke with newsmen over the weekend in Abuja: “It is salutary to note that the former President, while declaring his support for Ogun West governorship pointed out that we the Yewas and Aworis have credible, illustrious and competent professionals in all sphere of endeavour, such as academia, military, civil service and politics.
“I must commend this as a factual statement of truth coming from such a revered statesman and politician of former President Obasanjo’s status.”
