Operatives of the Rapid Response Squad of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested a man captured on CCTV stealing a Samsung A15 mobile at an eatery on Kafi Street, Alausa, Ikeja, Ifeanyi Okonkwo.
The suspect had stolen the phone on November 7, 2024 and then returned on December 5, 2024 for another purchase when he was apprehended.
Okonkwo stole the Samsung A15 mobile belonging to another customer at the counter.
He was, however, captured on CCTV while stealthily taking the phone on the counter.

Not realising that people were on the lookout for him, he returned to the same restaurant on December 5, where he was spotted and promptly arrested by RRS operatives near the scene.
The operatives have recovered the phone from the buyer, while the suspect has been charged to court.
