Najeem Salaam, the Speaker, Osun House of Assembly on Monday, congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari on his affirmation as the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress for 2019 presidential election.
Salaam, who made the congratulation in a statement in Osogbo, said he was confident that Buhari would deliver more dividends of democracy to Nigerians.
He commended the president’s policies and programmes which he had impacted tremendously on the lives of Nigerians.
He said: “Like the “Anchor Borrower scheme”, “Trader moni” for petty traders, who never thought that Federal Government could remember them as well as the N-power scheme for the unemployed graduates among others.
“To be candid, this present administration has done creditably well in area of critical infrastructure, economy and security, despite its daunting challenges.
“But a lot still need to be done, if our quest to get it right is anything to go by.”
The speaker urged members of the party who won at the primaries for various positions to see their mandate as a call to service.
