The Osun State Muslim Community has charged Muslims in the state to keep praying for the State Governor, Nurudeen Ademola Jackson Adeleke, to succeed in leading the state.
The President of Osun State Muslim Community, Alhaji Mustafa Olawuyi, said Governor Adeleke needs prayers.
He said this was to enable him to achieve his good plans for the state.
Alhaji Olawuyi said this during a special prayer for Governor Adeleke organised by OSMC at its secretariat in Osogbo, the state capital.

The prayer for the governor, which was combined with a pre-Ramadan lecture, was attended by Muslims from all over the state, including Imams, led by the Grand Imam of Osun State, Sheikh Musa Animasahun.
Olawuyi advised Muslims to remain steadfast, pray hard and persevere just as he charged rich individuals in the state to assist the poor to enable them feed and cater for their families during Ramadan.
Speaking on behalf of the Governor, Adeleke’s Special Adviser on Regional Integration and Special Duties, Kamal Adekilekun, said the state’s number one man was not oblivious of the economic hardship in the country
Adekilekun said Governor Adeleke is making efforts to make life bearable for people of Osun State.
He said the Governor is determined to deliver on his campaign promises to the people of Osun State.
The Vice President of OSMC, Alhaji Abdullateef Olayanju, said the state government has made provision to cushion the effect of economic hardship on the people.
In his lecture, prominent Islamic scholar, Dr. Abdul Lateef Aniyan, advised Muslims to stay away from habit that could impair or vitiate their fasting.
Aniyan charged them to intensify efforts of good conduct that would earn them rewards from Allah.
During the events, Osun State Muslim Community provided free medical check up for Muslims to undergo tests, know the status of their health and get treated.
