Newly crowned African queen, Asisat Oshoala, has stated that she is still undecided about a transfer move, despite several European club offers at her doors.
Oshoala gave this hint shortly after she was crowned as the CAF African Woman Player of the year in Lagos on Thursday.
“Though, I have several offers on the table now but I’m still skeptical about it. I still want to give it a thought because winning the CAF Awards as River Angels player means that our league is quite strong.
“So, I still want to try out here in Nigeria before signing for any club in Europe,” Superzee, as she is fondly called, stated.
On her African women crown, Oshoala believes the award would spur her to other greatness in her career.
“I’m quite happy winning this award and joining the likes of Perpetual Nkwocha and Mercy Akide who have won this award and just like them, I have set a target for myself and this is the beginning of other great to happen in my career,” she noted.
She was the best player and highest goal scorer at the 2014 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
She was also best player and second top goalscorer with the Super Falcons team which won the 2014 African Women’s Championship.
