The Governor of Imo State, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, has reshuffled the State Executive Council.
According to a news blog, Imo State Blog, the cabinet reshuffle was confirmed by the state’s Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Dr. Obinna Duruji.
Duruji said the reshuffle was announced at the SEC meeting on Wednesday.
The following changes were reported to have been made:
. Lady Chioma Ogoke who served as the former Commissioner for Commerce and Industry has been redeployed to the Ministry of Housing and Urban development.
. Chief Ejike Uche, former Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development, was redeployed to the Ministry of Public Utilities.
. Nze Ogueri Enwerem was moved from the Ministry of Lands to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
. Dr.Iheanyi Nwachukwu, the former Commissioner for Public Utilities, is now the Commissioner for Special Duties.
. Barrister Nelson Ezerioha, moves from Special Duties to the Ministry of Transport.
Mr. Nick Oparandudu, the former Chief Economic Adviser to Okorocha is now in charge of the Ministry of Economic Planning and Development.
. Mr. Uche Nwosu, former Deputy Chief of Staff, is now in charge of the Ministry of Lands.
