Muslim stakeholders in Ogun Central Senatorial District have resolved to collaborate in order to boost synergy on the future of Muslims and sustainable development of Islam.
The resolution was made at a sitting which was at the instance of Ogun State Muslim Council, Ogun Central district.
The session which was attended by Ogun State Council on Islamic Affairs, various Muslim Community leaders and Female Muslim umbrella body discussed extensively on hard-earned democratic governance, discriminatory tendencies in the ivory towers and sidelining of Muslims among others.

Scores of strategic representatives at the meeting, according to a press release renewed their commitment to the service of Islam and sacrifice to the Almighty Allah with utmost interest in the progress and development of Muslims against all odds and all forms of sentimental discrimination.
The sitting hailed the growing synergy which has been strengthening the corporate, human and spiritual working relationship across the divergent Muslims in Ogun Central in particular and Ogun State in general.
“Never shall Muslims allow to either be sandwiched, sidetracked, sidelined or maligned”, role that “Muslims, alongside others played to midwife and sustain the on-going democratic governance in Nigeria’ the participants resolved.
On the sidelines of the meeting, stakeholders shared their thoughts on the position of the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and judgement from the Court of competent jurisdiction on hijab, Niqob and Muslim rights.
