Singer Teni the Entertainer has dismissed reports claiming some persons attempted to abduct her while she was performing in Port Harcourt, Rivers State on Sunday.
An eyewitness who attended the show said that some people attempted to abduct her while she was performing.
However, the Rivers State Police Command in a statement also dismissed reports of the attempted kidnap.
It stated that some miscreants had attempted to cause a fight at the venue, adding that security agents at the venue fired gunshots to ward off violence.
In a new update, Teni via her Instastories on Monday evening also dismissed reports of attempted kidnap.
She wrote: “It all happened so fast, there was no incidence of attempted kidnap.
“A fight started back stage and that led to a stampede.”
