The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited has disclosed how much it bought petrol from Dangote Refinery and Petrochemical Company.
The Chief Corporate Communications Officer of NNPCL, Olufemi Soneye, made the revelation to Daily Trust newspaper on Sunday.
According to Soneye, NNPCL, which on Saturday moved about 300 trucks to the 650,000 capacity refinery in Lagos, bought petrol for N898 on Sunday.

He told Daily Trust: “We successfully loaded PMS at the Dangote Refinery today.
“The claim that we purchased it at N760 per litre is incorrect.
“For this initial loading, the price from the refinery was N898 per litre.”
Soneye added that as of the time of filing the report, over 70 trucks had been loaded.
