Ibrahim Abdullahi scored a brace as Abubakar Bukola Saraki Football Club of Ilorin defeated First Bank FC of Lagos 4-0 in a 2015/2016 Nigeria National League match.
Abdullahi opened scoring for his side in the fourth minute of the Week 3 match played on Sunday at the Kwara Stadium Complex in Ilorin.
Doyin Olowosaiye doubled the lead for the “Saraki Boys” in the 33rd minute.
Lukman Abdulhameed scored the third goal for the hosts in the 39th minute as ABS FC dominated most of the proceedings.
The visitors found it very difficult to deal with the long balls pushed upfield by the hosts and could not initiate a fightback as the match wore on.
Abdullahi sealed the victory five minutes into the second half with a sublime finish, leading to his receiving a standing ovation from the spectators.
First Bank FC’s Habeeb Wahab received a red card in the 90th minute of the match.
