Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets crashed 3-1 to their Guinean opponents as they failed to clinch the African Under 17 championship bronze medals on Sunday.
The Eaglets scored first in the 28th minute through Victor Osimhen.
It was his fourth goal of the tournament.
However, Guinea drew level courtesy of Aboubacar Toure in the 34th minute.
Abdoulaye Jules Keita then grabbed a brace in the 39th and 53rd minute to kill off the game for Guinea.
Even after getting their goals Guinea stayed in attack in search of more goals.
Both teams played out a 1-1 draw when they clashed in the group phase of the competition.
The Nigerian lads and the Guineans will feature at the FIFA U17 World Cup in Chile in October.
