Your soar away reality TV show, the Next Movie Star, is set to commence the 2015 edition of the show with audition calls from October 26 to 31 in Port-Harcourt, Abuja and Lagos centres.
The Next Movie Star is a 30-day reality TV show centered on discovering, nurturing and promoting new actors for the African entertainment industry.
For the past 10 seasons, the show has grown from strength to strength discovering and promoting stars like Tonto Dike, Annie Macaulay, Kelvin Chung Pam, Porshia Yamahan, Belinda Effah, Moyo Lawal, Uti Nwachukwu, Lydia Forson, Martha Ankomah, Uche Nnadi, Martha Essay, Zerzerziya Jonathan Wilson, VJ Adams, Karen Igho, Princess Shyyngle, Boma Mae Ako, Tamara Eteimo, Tomiwa Kukoyi, Halimat Aitsegamen, Feyi Akinnade, Bridget Chigbufre and a host of others.
Each year, 16 housemates are selected from auditions across Africa to battle it out in the next movie star house for 30 days.
This is after a specialized training and grooming camp for weeks at a resort where experienced facilitators like Directors, Producers, Choreographers, Production Managers, Stage Directors, PR Specialists and Brand Specialists will train and prepare them for life as an actor and celebrity.
At the end of the show, based on votes from TV viewers and grading by judges, the winner is announced and will go home with an SUV, three movie contracts, cash prizes and other freebies.
Other runners up win cash and other consolatory prizes.
This year’s edition of the show, tagged: “THE GAME CHANGER,” will broadcast for 30 days from mid-November till mid-December on leading TV stations across Nigeria and other African countries.

Auditions for this year will hold in Port-Harcourt at the Mc Kay Resorts, Owhipha Choba along Uniport, Port Harcourt on October 27, 2015, while Abuja audition will take place at the prestigious Ivory Bush resort, A Close, off Second Avenue, Efab City Estate, Ubora District, Life Camp, Abuja.
Lagos audition will take place at the popular Troys Lounge, 12, Oladele Kadiri Street, off Nob Oluwa Street, behind NIJ, Ogba, Lagos State.
The organisers said it promises to be a great show this year as all hands are on deck to make the show one of the best ever.
