Newsmen, staff barred from Ekiti Assembly as lawmakers meet

Newsmen and Civil Servants were prevented from gaining access to the Ekiti State House of Assembly as some lawmakers converged for plenary.

This is coming amid allegations that the new Speaker, Gboyega Aribisogan, elected on Friday, will be removed.

Aribisogan had on Sunday alleged that a former Governor of the state, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, had lodged seven lawmakers in Fem Guest House, Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital, to impeach him.
