Injured Leicester City midfielder, Wilfried Ndidi, is expected to return to action in December.

The Nigerian sustained the injury during the second half of the Foxes’ 4-2 win over Burnley, but still completed the match.

Coach Brendan Rodgers said on Ndidi: “He’ll be a little bit of time out but his operation has gone well.

“Him coming back will make us even stronger when he is back.”

Rodgers hinted that the 12-week absence that would keep the Nigerian out until Christmas.

Meanwhile, Ndidi has been included in the squad for the Europa League group games, despite the final fixture of the six taking place in mid-December.
