Romanus Uchenna Amuta, otherwise known as Natty, is dead.
Natty eventually gave up the ghost on Saturday after an unsuccessful battle with stroke.
Natty, who has been bedridden for several years, was some time ago reported to have gotten monetary assistance from the Actors Guild of Nigeria through the moves of the President, Ibinabo Fiberesima.
But despite all efforts, he finally breathed his last breath few hours ago.
He was a comic actor in a rested popular sitcom, The New Masquerade, on national television, The Nigeria Television Authority.
The programme was enjoyed by many households in the 1980s.
