A former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Chief Olu Falae, said his abductors were unreasonable in their demands.
Falae equally said he slept on bare floor for the four days that he was held by the kidnappers.
The former Minister of Finance narrated his ordeal when the Ondo State Governor, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, visited him after his release on Thursday.
Falae, who was kidnapped by men suspected to be Fulani herdsmen on Monday on his farm in Ilado village, Akure North Local Government Area of Ondo State, described his experience as “hell”.
He said: “When I told the kidnappers that my family could raise N2 million for ransom against the N100 million they demanded, they rejected it and told me: ‘Is it Boko Haram you are giving N2 million to?'”
The septuagenarian said he trekked several kilometres from his farm to a hotel in Owo town, where he met security agents that took him home when he was freed by his abductors.
