Islamic militants, not classified as Boko Haram, have shot and killed a police officer in Bauchi State.
So also were Fulani militants reported to have attacked two villages in Plateau State, wounding three persons.
Available information has it that the police officer was shot dead on Wednesday at Gudung Railway Crossing in Bauchi town, Bauchi State.
From Bel in Sho Barkinladi, Plateau State also comes a report that Fulani militants struck in the town late on Wednesday.
It was gathered that no one was hurt during the attack.
But in another attack on another village in Barkinladi, three persons were injured by the Fulani militants.
This, it was learnt, has led to tension in the area.
