Man U begin Pogba contract talk

Manchester United have opened up talks with Paul Pogba over a new deal at Old Trafford.
The France international made it clear over the summer that he was looking for a way out, stating on a promotional trip to Tokyo: “It could be a good time for a new challenge.”
No move was forthcoming, despite interest from Real Madrid, and, according to The Times, United are keen to capitalise on the end of the transfer window by securing him to a new deal.
Pogba currently still has two years left on his contract, and there is the option of a third year for the club.
United will have to deal with the player’s agent Mino Raiola if they are to get any agreement over the line.
The agent’s handling of Pogba’s future has infuriated those in charge at Old Trafford, and their relationship has been severely weakened as a result.
Pogba is expected to return to action on Wednesday after he missed United’s last three games with an ankle injury.
He sat out United’s wins over Leicester and Astana as well as the defeat by West Ham at the weekend.
However, Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed Pogba has given his underachieving side a timely boost ahead of United’s League Cup clash with Rochdale.
The coach said: “He’ll probably get some minutes against Rochdale,’ he said, as reported by United’s official website.
“But we definitely think he’s ready for Arsenal.”
