The Lagos State All Progressives Congress Electoral Committee is to convene an important stakeholders’ meeting ahead of the July 12, 2025 local government election in the state, just as The Eagle Online has obtained the full list of aspraints screened for the poll.
Chairman and Secretary of the Electoral Committee, Babatunde Ogala and Nurudeen Bamidele, made the meeting known on Monday.
The committee said the meeting would hold at the APC secretariat on Wednesday in Ikeja.
According to the committee, those invited to the meeting are Prince Tajudeen Oluyole Olusi, Chairman of the Lagos State Governance Advisory Council (GAC) and the three serving senators in the state.
It added that the meeting would also be attended by the party chairmen in the 20 Local Government Areas and 37 Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs), APC serving members of the House of Representatives, and APC members of the State House of Assembly.
Also to attend the meeting, according to the committee, are the APC apex leaders in the 57 LGAs/LCDAs, all the chairmanship aspirants that have been cleared by the screening committee to contest the primaries, all outgoing council chairmen.

It said that members of the State Executive Council of the party would also attend the meeting.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the ruling APC has fixed Saturday as date of primaries in all the council areas.
According to the party guidelines, the indirect system will be used for the primaries, with delegates drawn from executive members in the LGAs and LCDAs.
