Armed robbers operating on a power bike in Lagos have shot a female police traffic warden, two policemen, a private security man and others in their escape bid.
The shooting took place in Ikoyi area of Lagos on Thursday.
According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred at about 12:28pm around FO filling station.
Eyewitnesses said the robbery operation was carried out around Falomo Bridge on Awolowo Road, Ikoyi by FO filling station.
The robbers, operating on a power bike, were said to have accosted their victim who was riding in a Sport Utility Vehicle.
A briefcase was reported to have been taken from the man in the SUV by the armed robbers.
In the bid to escape, the robbers shot at three policemen in the area, injuring them.
