Yahu Inuwa, the Chairman of Kaduna United FC Supporters Club, said they would contest the decision of the League Management Company banning its members from attending the club’s home and away matches.
Yahu told the News Agency of Nigeria in Kaduna on Thursday that the association had not received any official letter from the LMC informing it of the ban.
He said: “I assume the three-year ban is a mere rumour because nobody has given us letter officially as I only heard about it from people.
“If really the LMC has taken the decision to ban us, we will sue them to court, so that the court will intervene.
“We are good citizens of Kaduna State.
“We don’t want anything that will cause disharmony in the state.”
Inuwa said members of the union would continue to conduct their activities until they officially receive the letter informing them of the ban.
The chairman called on the club’s fans and other well wishers to support the team in order to move it forward instead of spreading rumours.
