The Joint Task Force set up by the military high command to curb the menace of Boko Haram said today that it killed three suspected members of the sect.
The JTF said the three Boko Haram members were trying to raze a public primary school in Maiduguri, Borno State.
Spokesman of the JTF, Lt. Col. Hassan Ifijeh Mohammed, said on Monday that soldiers shot the suspected members.
Mohammed said two other members of the sect were arrested.
Gunshots were reported to have been heard most part of the day in Maiduguri.
