The final burial of the former Under-23 female national team coach, the Falconet, Joseph Olayiwola Ladipo, popularly called Jossy Lad, has been scheduled for June 13 and 14, 2013 at the cemetery of the Christ Church, Mapo, Ibadan, Oyo State.
A member of the burial committee and the Zonal Director of the South West National Sports Commission, Steve Olarinoye, informed that the lying in state, wake keep and service of songs will hold on June 13 at the Obafemi Awolowo Stadium at 5pm, the final church service at the Christ Church, Mapo, Ibadan at 11am on June 14, while the interment will follow immediately after the service.
Also, the family of the deceased claimed they have informed the Oyo State Government, the Nigerian Football Federation and the National Sports Commission of the burial arrangements.
Jossy Lad, who served Oyo State and the NFF in various capacities as football coach and administrator, died in his home on May 9, 2013.
He is survived by children and grand children.
