Atletico Madrid have named their squad for post-season friendly with the Nigerian national team, the Super Eagles, and included a certain Aguero among their ranks.
Fans had to double check as the squad was released on Monday, with some believing former goal-scoring hero Sergio Aguero had been accidentally confirmed to return.
Spirits were soon dampened somewhat, however, when news filtered through that highly rated youngster Juan Aguero had been called up into the senior ranks.
Atletico have been linked with a move for their former striker in recent weeks, with Antoine Griezmann set to depart in the summer.
Aguero could leave the Etihad this summer, with manager Pep Guardiola believed to prefer Gabriel Jesus as the spearhead of his future attack.
Should Aguero return to the Spanish capital, he would join a squad with his namesake, also hailing from Argentina.
The 18-year-old attacking midfielder has been making steady progress at Atleti, and looks set to get his chance under manager Diego Simeone.
