As part of many of her contributions to the efforts being provided by the government in the health sector and most importantly actions taken to curb menace of the deadly COVID-19 virus, Arise Women, led by Dr. Siju Iluyomade, will commence the second dose vaccination for those that earlier got the first dose couple of weeks ago during the Arise Conference.
This is another great initiative of the Convener of Arise Women, a statement by her Media Office on Friday said.
It said it was to complement the effort of the government to address the shortfall in designation of locations for people to get vaccinated against COVID-19, which has ravaged the world for almost two years.
According to information made available by the Non-Government Organisation, which has intervened in so many areas to increase standard of living of Nigerians in terms of support for social amenities and many more, the vaccination will commence on December 16, 2021.
The event, which starts by 9am, will take place at the Arise Vaccination Centre, 7/8 Chief Yesufu Abiodun way, City Of David Church Road, Victoria Island, Lagos.
It will also administer polio vaccination for kids for free.
To make the place conducive and friendly, the Arise team has made provision for food for everyone who comes around to be vaccinated on the day.
