The wife of the Ekiti State Governor, Dr. Olayemi Oyebanji, has urged tourists from across the world to visit Ikogosi Resort Centre, a natural warm spring, for a lifetime experience.
She said this on Tuesday while on a tour of the recently revamped resort in Ikogosi, Ekiti West Local Government Area in Ekiti State.
The governor’s wife expressed the readiness of her office to partner with the centre to showcase one of her pet projects: “Adire Ekiti,” to the world.
Dr. Oyebanji, who was conducted round facilities at the resort by the Chairman, Cavista Holdings, John Olajide, and other members of his management team, urged tourists to patronise the resort and feel the natural elegance and tropical luxury of the community.
The governor’s wife, who was taken round the swimming pool fed by the warm spring, restaurants, multipurpose conference hall, and the lounge, lauded the management of the resort for the transformation of the place to world class standard.
In his remarks, Olajide said that the upgrade of facilities at the resort was to make it world class and ensure job availability for the populace.

He acknowledged the intervention of the government, particularly the provision of public power supply to the resort.
According to him, the resort is pocket friendly, as against what people spend exploring other tourist centres abroad.
He solicited improved patronage by Nigerians and those in diaspora during visits to the country.
