Manchester City striker, Kelechi Iheanacho, has said that it is “a dream come true” to be at the same club as Sergio Aguero.
The 19-year-old has an impressive strike rate from his short time in the City senior squad, scoring eight goals in 769 minutes on the field – an average of a goal every 96 minutes.
Despite that, the Nigerian is firmly behind Aguero in the pecking order at the Etihad, but he insists that he is happy to be able to learn from the Argentine.
“Sergio is a great striker and I am learning from him. It’s not pressure, it’s a dream come true,” he told reporters.
“Pep [Guardiola] has brought his own style. It’s going to look easy on the pitch when you have lots of players to pass to. I haven’t had any private discussions with Pep. He has the final decision on the team and I have to work hard to be in his team.”
Aguero has scored six goals in three competitive appearances for City already this season.
