Ighalo close to Watford switch

Udinese forward, Odion Ighalo, is on the verge of sealing a loan deal with Watford FC of England.
The former junior international, who passed his medicals in Italy, hinted that he is prepared to sign the dotted lines for a year loan deal with the Vicarage Road side.
His words: “I’m in London as we speak and everything is in order to complete the loan deal.
“Watford is a great side with huge history and I’m prepared to make the best of this opportunity.
“I won’t have a problem of work permit because I hold an Italian passport.”
Ighalo previously starred for Norwegian club, Lyn, before joining Udinese on a five-year contract in July 2008.
He made just five league appearances – four of those as a late substitute – during his first season in Italy, before being loaned to Granada the following summer.
Ighalo found the net 17 times in his first season in Spain and added five in the second, as both seasons saw the Rojiblancos win promotion.
This was interspersed with a brief, three-game loan spell back in Italy with AC Cesena.
