Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State has forwarded the name of a two-time Local Government Chairman, Cornell Onwubuya, to the State Assembly for confirmation as commissioner.
Onwubuya was for chairman of Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area of the state.
The Deputy Speaker, Donatus Uzogbado, read the governor’s letter during the house sitting on Tuesday.
Uzogbado, who presided over the plenary, directed the Clerk of the house to request the nominee to furnish the house with 25 copies of his resume on or before May 28.
The house adjourned till May 29.
