Governor Aminu Masari, has appointed the Speaker, Katsina State House of Assembly, Alhaji Abubakar Yahaya, as the 2018 Amirul Hajj and leader of the state delegation for the holy pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia.
Alhaji Badaru Bello, the Public Relations’ Officer of the state Muslims Pilgrims’ Welfare Board made the disclosure in a statement made available to newsmen in Katsina on Monday.
He said other members of the delegation include the state Chief Judge, Justice Musa Danladi and the Commissioner for Religious Affairs, Alhaji Tanimu Audi, among others.
