The funeral arrangements for the pioneer Bishop of the Diocese of Lagos West, Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, Rt. Rev. Peter Awelewa Adebiyi, has been released.
As earlier reported by The Eagle Online, the retired Bishop died at about 10:15pm on Thursday during a brief illness.
Bishop Adebiyi was aged 79.
According to the funeral arrangements, a Commendation/Farewell Service will hold on April 27, 2022 at the Archbishop Vining Memorial Cathedral Church, Ikeja, Lagos.
April 28 will have the Wake Keep holding at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Osi Ekiti, while the burial service holds the following day at the same venue.
