The Federal Road Safety Corps has emerged winner of the Phillips Consulting Inaugural Public Sector Web Jurist Awards as the best Public Agency in the Country that has maintained a topflight site in the category of experience and performance in the World Wide Web.
Phillips Consulting developed six yardsticks for the analysis of the nominated websites.
They are: Aesthetics, Technical Aspects, Site Content, Web Transaction Processing, Customer Experiences and Performance.
Reacting to the ratings of the Corps, the Corps Marshal, Engineer Boboye Oyeyemi, asserted that the FRSC will continue to improve on all the six criteria Phillips Consulting used to judge which website bests others.
Oyeyemi enjoined the Corps members to pay keen attention to the contents that are uploaded to the FRSC websites.
The Federal Road Safety Head of Media Relations and Strategy, Bisi Kazeem, stated: Phillips Consulting has come a long way with its engagement in rating the official websites of financial corporations, telecommunication firms and media institutions, which has brought about an annual Web Jurist Awards.
In his words, the Annual Web Jurist Awards is an exceptionally recognized brand that is in its 12th year of existence, where Phillips Consulting objectively reviews organizations’ websites in order to provide a foundation for constant improvement.
Commander Bisi Kazeem added that Phillips Consulting noted that they completed their evaluations of Public Sector websites long before their findings and ratings were presented in the first edition of Web Jurist Awards featuring Public Sectors in the Country.
The maiden edition of the Web Jurist Awards, where the Federal Road Safety Corps emerged best, was concluded on September 29, 2015 at Zuma Hall, Rockview Hotel Royale, Wuse 2, Abuja.
